Nestled within the Cartagena Cruise Terminal, Port Oasis Ecopark stands as a beacon of hope, providing refuge to over 700 animals spanning 75 species, all rescued from the shadows of illegal trafficking.
This conservation center has emerged as a pillar of protection and rehabilitation for wildlife, offering animals a second chance. Here, some return to their natural habitats, while others find a suitable environment where they can thrive. Our design is centered around animal welfare and reproductive success, playing an essential role in enhancing Colombia’s diversity.
Furthermore, the Cartagena de Indias Cruise Terminal stands at the forefront of its category, welcoming 90% of Colombia’s maritime visitors. We cater to around 30 cruise lines and approximately 400,000 visitors each season. Located just 2 miles from the historic center, our terminal is a cornerstone for the city’s economy, contributing to over 50 million dollars annually. We are recognized for our award-winning environmental, cultural, and economic practices, underscoring our commitment to the sector’s growth.
